Steve Brown

Chief Executive Officer

Steve became CEO of ACFCU in January, 2014. Prior to joining ACFCU, Steve served in senior leadership roles at Acxiom for 15 years. Before Acxiom, Steve worked in the commercial banking industry for over ten years specializing in commercial lending and the management of credit card portfolios. Although not a native of Benton, his wife, Gasha, and children, Josh & Megan, are all proud Benton high school graduates and he and his wife have lived in Benton for over 25 years. Steve is actively involved in our community with the Benton Chamber of Commerce and the Benton/Bauxite Rotary Club.


Jeanette Nation

Jeanette Nation

Chief Financial Officer

Jeanette joined us in September of 2019 with over 25 years’ experience in the commercial banking industry. She and her husband, Greg, live in Little Rock and have three children. Jeanette is excited to work with the Saline County community and looks forward to getting to know our members!


Jamie Bigelow

Vice President of Consumer Lending

Jamie was born and raised in Malvern, AR which is where she began her career in commercial banking in 2000 and spent the next five years serving in roles from teller to branch manager.  After moving to Benton with her husband Brian in 2005 she spent time working in local government emergency services until she was encouraged by friends and family to return to banking.  She then discovered the credit union industry, which she calls “banking with a purpose.” Jamie came on board with ACFCU in October of 2014. She serves on the board of directors for Bryant Rotary, Saline County Safe Haven, and Leadership Saline County.  Jamie enjoys volunteering within Saline County and all things outdoors with her husband and two boys.


Paige Rhoades

Collections and Facilities Management Director

Paige is originally from Southeastern Arkansas, but moved to Benton in 2013 and joined ACFCU in July, 2014. Paige has over 20 years of experience in banking, finance, and member service. Paige and her husband, Jay live in Haskell with their three children. She enjoys camping, a day at the lake, and spending time with her family.


Andrea Rose  

Director of Compliance & Operations

Human Resource Specialist

Andrea is a graduate of University of Phoenix, majoring in Business Management with a minor in Human Resource Management. Andrea has over a decade of experience in customer service, finance, and management. She has a passion for people. Andrea loves the feeling of community and small town life that Saline County has to offer. She enjoys reading, spending time with family, and any activity that involves water. She lives in Benton with her husband and their two sons.


Savannah Gann

Marketing and Business Development Director

Savannah Gann, originally from Helena/West Helena, AR, has been entrenched in the business community in Saline County for over 20 years. Savannah is a graduate of University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a Bachelors and Masters degree in Applied Communications with emphasis in Marketing and Business Administration. Savannah lives in Benton with her husband Paul and their two daughters. Some of Savannah’s hobbies include thrifting, upcycling, and event planning.


Robert Chumbley

Consumer Lending Specialist

Robert was born and raised in a small town in SE New Mexico called Artesia and graduated from New Mexico State University in 2004. With over 19 years of credit union experience under his belt, Robert joined the ACFCU team as a Consumer Loan Specialist in December of 2023. Robert is married with three children and enjoys everything outdoors, mostly fishing and tying flies, and plays the drums, guitar, piano and more!


Kelly Freudensprung

Consumer Lending Specialist

Kelly is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas where he earned a BBS with a major in Marketing & Management and a minor in Sociology. Kelly joined the Alcoa team in March of 2023 as the Senior Consumer Lending Specialist at the newly opened Sheridan branch. He is now at the Benton branch and brings with him over 40 years of experience in marketing and management. He has a passion for community service and has spent more than 30 years serving Chambers of Commerce, Rotary and Lions Clubs, and Community Leadership programs. Kelly is a long time Benton resident, and his daughter Beth is a 2024 Benton High School graduate, now attending UCA. Some of Kelly’s hobbies include hiking, antiquing and playing golf. A bad day on the golf course is still a good day, according to Kelly!


Leah House

Financial Services Specialist - Sheridan Branch

Leah House has spent the past 18 years in the insurance industry and recently pursued her NMLS license and discovered a passion for the mortgage business. Originally from a small town, Leah looks forward to building relationships in Sheridan. She lives in Glen Rose with her husband, daughters Brianna and Madelyn, and their two dogs, and she enjoys going to the beach whenever she can.


Mondi Elrod

Consumer Lending Specialist - Sheridan Branch

Mondi joined the ACFCU team in October of 2021 but has had a relationship with Alcoa since childhood. Her father retired from the Alcoa plant after 34 years, leaving Mondi with memories of going with her mother to pick up her father’s paychecks on Fridays at the first brick and mortar location on Alcoa. Mondi started in the banking industry in 2015 as a loan processer, moving on to become an underwriter in indirect lending before joining the ACFCU team. She loves hunting, camping, and anything outdoors, and is also on the board of directors at the Christian Community Care Clinic in Benton. Most of all, she loves being a MIMI to her two granddaughters and spending time with her family.


Charlie Rhoden

Consumer Lending Specialist- Sheridan Branch

Charlie has over 20 years of experience in customer service, with 3 of those years being in finance. Charlie has a background in public service and looks forward to serving the members of ACFCU. Charlie lives in Whitehall with her family and loves to sing, ride four wheelers, and hunt.


Stephanie Gillette

Financial Services Specialist - Sheridan Branch

Stephanie Gillette, originally from Southeast Texas, has called Arkansas home for over a decade. After a year in Benton, she settled in Sheridan, where she lives with her two children—one of whom is preparing to enter the U.S. Coast Guard. With approximately five years of experience in the auto finance industry, Stephanie brings strong industry knowledge and a commitment to serving her community. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, fishing, attending church, and spending quality time with her family.


Matt Jones

Mortgage Loan Originator

Matt was raised in Benton and graduated from Benton High School in 2003, going on to graduate from Ouachita Baptist University in 2007 where he majored in Business Administration. Matt has over a decade of experience in customer service, finance, and real estate. He lives in Little Rock with his wife Stefan and their three children. He enjoys spending his free time outdoors hunting, fishing, and watching or playing sports.


Jill Johnson

Member Service Representative

Jill is a Benton native and joined the ACFCU team in October of 2021. She has spent over a decade working in customer service. Jill loves traveling, sewing, listening to true crime and spending time with her husband, Tom and son, Kellen.


Stephanie Ingram

Member Services Representative

Stephanie is originally from Batesville, AR but joined her family in Benton in 2004. Stephanie has spent over a decade working in customer service. Stephanie lives in Benton with her husband and two sons. She attends First Baptist Church in Benton and enjoys spending time with family at the pool, traveling, and quiet time on her porch.


Glenda Nielsen

Card Services Specialist and Fraud Mitigation

Glenda joined ACFCU in December 2023 as our Card Services Specialist and Fraud Mitigation. Originally from Baton Rouge, LA, she has called Benton home for over 25 years. In 2012, Glenda relocated to California while her husband Kaleb served in the United States Marine Corps. When she returned to Arkansas in 2016, she begin working in the financial industry. She served as both a Personal Banker and Mortgage Loan Assistant for over 3 years. Outside of work, Glenda has a passion for interior design and social media marketing, where she manages content creation for small businesses. She also enjoys traveling with her husband, two boys and spending time with their two dogs, a playful Standard Poodle and a laid-back Laba Houla. 


Drew Thompson

Teller/Certified Financial Counselor

Drew joined the team in June of 2023 as a Teller. Drew is a lifelong resident of Benton and a graduate of Benton High School. While earning his bachelor’s degree from University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Drew worked for Independent Case Management as a Direct Support Professional, with additional experience in retail sales and management. He was also a founding board member of the Royal Theatre’s Young Players. Drew is excited for the opportunity to serve his community and the members of ACFCU.


Shelby Owings

Head Teller

Shelby joined the team in June of 2023. After graduating from Bryant High School, Shelby attended Henderson State University. During her time at the university, she served as the President of the band service sorority, Tau Beta Sigma. After her time at Henderson State, she worked as a general manager in the food industry before joining ACFCU. She is currently pursuing a business management degree at University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Shelby lives in Benton with her son.


Emerson Greene

Teller

Emerson is from Sheridan, AR. Emerson has an Associates degree in Liberal Arts and she is attending Southern Arkansas University on scholarship to obtain a Bachelors in Media Marketing and plans to later pursue a degree in Law. Emerson was crowned Miss Arkansas State Fair 2024. She is excited about expanding her experience and knowledge of finances through ACFCU.


Melinda Brown

Senior Accounting Specialist

Melinda has 23 years of customer service, finance, and credit union experience serving the members of ACFCU. During her tenure, Melinda has served in many roles. Prior to joining ACFCU, she worked for her family's business. Melinda and her husband James have lived in Traskwood with their children for over 35 years.


Donna Stockton-Brooks

Accounts Payable Specialist

Donna is a Benton native. Donna has over two decades of experience in banking and customer service. She has served in many roles during her tenure at ACFCU. Donna serves on the board for the Royal Players, a non-profit organization in Saline County.


Board of Directors

Unlike banks, members of the board of directors at your credit union are all volunteers, elected by ACFCU members at our annual meeting. The board of directors serves the membership by setting policies that govern your financial cooperative.
